Our mission is to help you honor the life of your loved one in a traditional Orthodox Christian way.
Brethren, I would not have you to be ignorant, concerning those who are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so will God bring with Him those also who sleep in Jesus.
Thessalonians 4:13

St. Xenia Orthodox Burial Ministry has been providing funeral and cemetery services to our community since 2021. Prayers and guidance from Thomas Christos enabled us to begin the process of securing plots starting 2017. We are blessed to have assisted Orthodox parishes and families during the time of a loved one's repose.
A funeral service is typically held with the deceased's body present, while a memorial service is held after the body has been buried . Both services can include eulogies, music, and other elements of a traditional funeral.
As Orthodox Christians, we believe in the sanctity of the human body and soul. Cremation is a violent process to the body. Orthodox Christians understand the relationship of our bodies and our salvation, therefore we do not adhere to anything that would defile the human body.
